they are weapons but can be a pain if they go wrong. you will have trouble finding second hand parts for them too.
i thought the general consensus was if its a cheap shitter then its probably worth it as long as you are prepared to throw it away when it goes wrong. you will get good money for the bits on ebay and 7 forums if you break it. sold a load of 750 parts a while back and trebled my money.
in my opinion its not really worth buying a mint expensive one unless you have a gold plated wallet to splash out on repairs.
if a cheap shitter came on the market locally to me id snap it up and break it once it self destructed.

I just bought an E32 740i last weekend, actually really like it, although I'm not all that confident it'll last too long.
Knock on wood though, it's been alright for a week
Go for it if it's cheap enough, and enjoy calling all other road users "little man"

They're good for dogging, so pacerpete tells me.

Make sure you get the long wheelbase IL version. The extra 4 inches in the rear makes all the difference, so maxfield tells me !

I'd like one, maybe I'm developing a weird disease but these big old beemers are just so cool.

Has anybody ever driven one of these beast? I think they put out 300hp, guessing they feel pretty rapid for big hectors, even my old mans 3.5 e32 used to feel a bit fast in "sport" mode.

I used to have one, quite long time ago. It was so nice to drive. It was really fast but only on "sport" mode. But the torque is so big that even on "economy" it is not slow in any rate.AlexBaur325 wrote:Has anybody ever driven one of these beast? Thats what i was thinking..If it proves to be beyond MOT'ing surely the bits would get my £Â£Ã‚£ back, the engine itself if its a good un must be worth a few quid.

The more i think about it the more i want it. Just the idea of it looking good and on the road, surely a pretty mighty Q car. And the fact its black can only add to the rightness of the whole concept.

£200 would be my top bid (beating my current most expensive e32 by £60!)

I did walk, taking eveything into account, too much collar for whats prob a shed. However ive seen a better one on the bay, full service book, tax and test and 140000 odd genuine miles.
