m30b35 Automatic/manual any difference excpt box obv

As title, will the auto ecu work fine once i source an manual box? Any other differences?

Anything else i need to know

Well the automatic cars have a different throttle position switch, and I think the plug is a totally different shape, it is on the two I have one is an '88 e34 535i manual, the other a '90 e32 735i. I think the auto ECU will be fine though.

You also need to fit a bearing to the back of the engine if using an auto engine, parts 8,9,10 & 11 on the following link;
