removing window trim

does anyone have any experience in removing the exterior chrome trim around the windows i have looked and cannot figure out how to remove it i am starting to think it would be easier just to spray it as i'm not even sure if you can buy the replacment bits

What about black replacements, do BMW still sell them, or can you get them elsewhere...?

dechrome used to be an arm and leg at stealers
that was going back about 3 years not sure if it available now though
