What exactly are they??? I hear people say "Baffles are gone" before, but wonder exactly what they are and what they do etc?? how do you know if "gone"??

Reason I ask is because my exhaust sounds like its got a hole in it, had a quick look today but couldn't see anything, will have a better look tomorrow, mate said to me, "perhaps baffles are blown"...

think its standard exhaust with scorpion twin straight silencer....

Hope it isn't knackered because I like the look of the exhaust, but is a bit loud for my liking and everyday driving!

Thanks

Baffles are the internal bits of the exhaust which direct the flow.

You might be able to check them by shaking the exhaust, and listening for loose bits

Oh I see.... thanks for the pic, that helps.

I suppose it would affect performance if they are broken?

Thanks
