right then , i know some people like them and some people dont, but looking at the 325 sports in the members section some m/// badges are on the n/s some are on the o/s ,so i was wondering if there on the boot ,"which side should they be on ?"

If you've got a 325i badge on the offside, then M badge goes on the nearside.
If no 325i badge on the offside, M badge goes on the offside
If no 325i badge on the offside, M badge goes on the offside

They're not M cars though are they... Doesn't bother me as much as some, but I still think it looks a bit wannabeZayyan wrote:It's going on a Sport which is not "standard equipped" though....it's got M-Tech stuff

They're not M cars but the M symbolises M Technik rather than Motorsport....they just happen to be the same logo

But the ///M badge is different to the ///M3 badge
Big difference is the number after it
If you have Mtec parts the i dont see a problem with the /// badge

does the ///m badge count as an mtech part? in which case some people (by this rule) can stick them on without anything else

Heating underneath it gently with a hairdryer and using a square of cardboard cut out of a cereal packet to ease it off has worked for me before....

its funny my bicycle is worth three times more than my car and i still think of sports as posh and expensive.
