Am I the only person in the land who doesn't like the iS lip spoiler?? I think it just looks a bit odd, the front of the car having that lip so close to the ground when the rest of the bodywork isn't at the same level

Yeah i think the iS should have come with SE sideskirts or something, i spent hrs starting at my Black one and often got that "snowplough" feeling...
Altho its pretty nice from a direct frontal view!

Hi guys just got home not so long ago with the 318is,and i just cant make up my mind if i like it or not.Its not the fastest tool on the road dont get me wrong i am no boy racer but it just felt funny and sounded funny. Not in the same league as a 325i or my alpina b11 i know they are great cars in there own right but you just cant beat a straight six growling. She was great on the motorway but it was very hard to keep up with my mates e34 525i he kept on pulling away ,he says he was trying to get me going give some of that right foot.Which is very stupid of him as it a high mileage car and its strange you just dont do thinks like that until its been serviced. The condition of the car done it for me its perfect but i suppose like anything you have to get used to it might be the best bmw i have ever owned.Just maybe. Temp guage i noticed was very slow of the mark do the m42 run cold did not get passed the first quater mark.
Engine is very quite aside from a slight cammy noice ever so slight.

Cheers

Yeah they could do with a bit more power really
Whats needed is the handling of the iS and the power of the 325

Think its called an m3...

Mine is like this - doesnt really go much above 1/4 way unless you're thrashing the life out of it & even then doesnt really go over half on a hot day. I bought a new thermostat as I thought maybe thats sticking, but I just havent got around to fitting it.
Cheers,
Robin

I was at work today so i did not get a chance to have a good look at her.I took her round to my dad to let him have a look and he could not believe the condition of the car its out of this world.I took him round the block and he turned down the radio to listen to the engine he thought there was something up with it because it has a sound all of its own like a busy be buzzing kind of sound not the 6pot growl anyway i hope thats the way the IS is supposed to sound.I also noticed that the dechrome on the drivers side from where the back side window meets the front door that black strip is missing i think it covers the rain channal.Where can i buy dechromed sections from. I think she will grow on me not going to use her until i get her serviced but she will have to wait untill the big girl comes home lol[325i]
