Cheers guys! Its my first BMW and im really enjoying it!
Shes got 110 thouasand miles on her and ive had it a couple of months now. Got her for £300 from ebay with MOT till May and tax till July!!
When i got her a few things didnt work (dash lights, indicators) mud flaps were hanging off, the engine was ticking from the exhaust manifold really loudly and some bulbs were gone. It was also droppin coolant out slowly whenever i stopped. Since ive had it (with some superb advice from e30zone) I've replaced the cambelt, fanbelt, waterpump, thermostat, indicator stalk, headlight dimmer switch, wiper motor and had some snapped exhaust manifold bolts drilled out and retapped!! She sounds really nice now! Theres still a few issues but aren't there always?!

I dont plan on messing with the bodywork, spoiler or bumpers (i lke the chrome ones) but when i have a few more pennies id like to lower it a bit, fit some wider alloys (i like alpina reps and some of the borbet varieties but they're all expensive!) and upgrade the brakes. Id like sme clear side repeaters and front indicators and some standard replacement foglights as mine are all discoloured. My hadlights are a bit milky too an I quite like the facelift lights with the smiley bits on so thats a possibility. For now though she's stayin pretty much as is and getting liberal amounts of wax whenever i have the time!

"Wow, maybe bargains really are available on ebay! If you don't mind me asking, how much did all those repairs cost you do carry out?"

Indicator stalk and dimmer switch came to £7 (cheers spadge)
paid £200 for the new waterpump, cambelt, fanbelt and drilled and tapped studs,
£10 for thermostat
£12 for windscreen wiper motor.

Not to bad really!

How much would you guys say shes worth?

Looks nice and tidy. Borbet B's or genuine alpinas would look good, not the replicas though.

Genuine - proper, strong, 20spokes and much better respect from deviants!

Reps - shit, weak, 19 spokes and a a council status!

if its a clean car in good condition ur lookin around £800 - £1000 for a 320i. it depends were ur buying from though.

i'm not a big fan of crome myself, but the rest of the car looks like a good base for a project or just a solid car to enjoy as is.

the 320 is a bit flat on low end power, but if u fit a 325 fuel regulaitor it can help. but it will use more fuel as the pressure will be raised from 2 bar to 2.5 bar.

enjoy ur e30, i know i do.

Thats one nice car u gotyaself there, black kidneys will look mean, think alp reps will spoil it though, and theyl spoil the driving feeling. Borbets or what about Azevz!!! would look good. You could go gunmetal with lighterer rims colour. I love an E30 in Red. its proper 80's classic stuff that.
