Can the new N42 four cylinder engine work in an e30?I know there will almost certainly be wiring issues.Will the rest of the running gear (318 i)work with the engine?Has it done befor?I'm new to the this e30 community so hi to everyone.

From the little information I have gathered(I fancy an engine like this for my touring)there are sump/oil pickup issues.
Youth is wasted on the young.

Thanks for the info.If you find any more details I will be very glad to hear them.I really like the 6 cylinder engines but I live on an island in Greece and the lighter four pots are better suited to our twisty roads.Maybe I'll be better off with a M44 engine.
