Paul, what's the difference between the standard issue rear shock mounts and the "Z3 reinforced rear shock mounts" that I've read about? Also, what's the price on each?

Thanks a lot,
Aaron

It is not a reinforced shock mount but a reinforcement plate that fits the other side of the body to reduce body flex

for the ultimate I would go for E46 M3 Cab Rear shock mtgs (more hard wearinbg than standard) which are £15.72 each

with the reinforcement plate £9.19 each

Guys, I run uprated rear shock mounts with the Z3 reinforcement plates.

Well worth it in my opinion. And if you run uprated suspension you really do need to think of the rear shock mounts.

Do you have the part number for the pro kit? I'm having a hard time with finding it, I don't know why.

Interesting. I went to Eibach's page and did a search trhinking I could just grab some part numbers for you.

http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/02 ... 9300016620

They don't seem to have anything listed for a 1989 320 touring.

Was that the car you were thinking of getting springs for?

I think the part number for my 1989 325i was 2003.140.

I don't have the packaging anymore and it is not mentioned on the receipt.

I was going to get the ones for the 325i to put on my 320i. They have the 320i listed on the German site, but I can't find those part numbers listed anywhere else.

OK. Right click on the image and select "view image". This will open the image at full size in a new window.

Part numbers are on each spring. I hope this helps.

Sorry for the OT everyone.

I hope these numbers are correct. It's the opnly image I have of them:

2 x SW
20 02001VA

2 X SQ
EW2003102HA

If you ring up and quote all those numbers, including the 2003.140 I'm sure they could tell you yes or no on a 1989 325i.

If you get a puzzled response I'm probably missing some numbers that haven't shown up in the photograph I took.

You local Eibach distributor will know for sure, however.

Thanks Alpine, I found them. $259 is what I'm looking at. I think that I found these same ones a few months ago and wrote them off because I was looking for something with more of a rake forward... like 1.5" front and 1" rear. You know? Yeah, I remember now I was looking into the H&R springs but was having a hard time with those too. I'm all over the place man.
