PBMWC —a the race series for the drivers

The Production BMW Cup (PBMWC) has gone from strength to strength since it started in 2004. Safe affordable racing has always been the ethos behind the series, something that has attracted consistently full grids from the beginning.

2008 is set to take this onto the next level, offering the drivers even better VFM after securing cheaper race fees and an exciting new calendar.

PBMWC is a driver focussed series and having consulted all it's members during the 2007 season on what they wanted, the result is an exciting independent racing calendar and reduced racing costs. PBMWC are pleased to say that all the boxes have been ticked, with some additional interesting and exciting outcomes for the drivers.

Next year PBMWC will be supported by a new series, the Toyo Tires Racing Saloons (TTRS). This will enable drivers to have additional races in their own class at similar good value

Cost reduction has been a key driver for us. The way we have achieved this for 2008 is by scouring the market to buy track time & grid slots as competitively as possible for both series.

To race with PBMWC there will be no requirement to join any of the National racing clubs. There will be a membership fee, but we will not be looking to profit from our financial activities, re-investing any surpluses for the benefit of the drivers. Race fees will be will be excellent value for money.

We will continue to retain the services of a dedicated MSA eligibility scrutineer and driving standards will continue to be rigorously enforced.

Cheaper racing will not mean lower safety standards.

We race for fun and our Post-race Paddock socials are an important part of the racing experience. Superb trophies will be awarded for not only podium places, but for off-track achievements as well, promoting the â€Ëafamily-like' feel to the series.

The regs are very similar to pre 93 Paul. That's why I'm interested. All the track's are fairly "local" to me so travelling will be less/cheaper. It will run alongside PBMW. Are you interested then?

PBMW regs are still the same

TTRS is open to lots more, and not BMW only, why not try a few local rounds if your car meets regs?

What you running now BTW??
