It happend, our 4th E30 arrived. In our country/region (Belgium, The Netherlands) it's a good known car.

Meaning of the purchase, replace my Renault Clio, so in fact, become a Daily.

The pics I shot when I went to look for her:

Image

It was pure love, she would come to Belgium.

Last Tuesday was D-Day, we picked her up.

Image

And we started with the works (already yes )

First one shot near her dolphingrey sis':

Image

Image

First things first, the analog watch had to dissapear

Image

Yep, I've placed a small BC (had 2 in my stock).

The sidemarkers, very subtile:

Image

Image

Strutbrace in the back:

Image

A big mechanics box in the trunk:

Image

Next steps (day after):

Radio install...

Image

Remove the black headlights, as they don't pass the belgian "technical checkup" and reinstall chrome kidneys

Image

a M-design gearknob, not original, brand new and looks good (I think)

Image

And the day after (yesterday) I did some more work...

an overview before my house, do you think i'm a freak? :P

Image

The tourer went back in and some pics of the 3 others...

Image

Image

The 2 white ones:

Image

Then the 318i itself...

The electric mirrors were dead, replaced the Relay and worked again :) lots easier :)

The fog lights didn't work neither, it seemed to be a broken switch...

Image

Furtheron I did remove the Aerodynamic front bumper, she'll become a M-tech and prolly a complete respray will follow as well ;)

that's it so far :)

Enjoy :D

the front wing is in fact a rebuild Aerodynamic one, this will be removed to fit on the other white ;)
the back wing is a AC schnitzer

And to continue, I did some more today, have to go to get her on our belgian roads tomorrow morning... And she has to be ready :)

What still had to be done this morning?

* check the seats, they weren't stable + pieces lost to have someone on the back seat :)
* replace the rubber to hold the exhaust in place
* change 2 wheels (rubber had his best time :) )
* check the brakes on the backwheels
* reinstall orange markers
* it's forbidden to have tinted front windows, so had to redo that as well

picca's:

This is how it looks like without Aerodynamik wing

Image

Image

Let's start with the exhaust...

Image

That's what was left from the old fitment :)

Image

Image

And how it looks now (not yet really centered but hell...)

Image

And then the car had a strange noise when you wanted to reverse withit. The previous owner did a doublecheck and couldn't found anything wrong, at least I could find a bolt that was loose. and the noise is gone, at least at this very moment

something not ok? click here to see a little movie :)

The interior has been replaced with a M3 one that was installed in my grey car.

in the meanwhile this one got a green card, so the homologation can continue :)

first check was bad... had to replace the backlights and one of the brakes in the back wasn't 100%. But that's all fixed :)

it seems that I do need to update this one once again :)

installed xenon:

Image

other frontvalance + IS-lip, lowered 55/35 with kw, shadowline side windows that can be opened, remus exhaust (waiting for another one at the mo) and installed Borbet B's:

2 pics from a shoot that i've done once:

the original exhaust with ACS end, emptied:

Image

small movie:

the sound s****, but when turning without stress she's a little louder, but when you're driving her, she screams. Not to hard though, but yeah.

and at least, a typical old skool look:

I got them in Germany, for me it was a 8hr drive.

You do see them often (what's in a name for a set that's rather rare to find) on ebay.de
