SOUNDS about right though for this money i would want a tuned 2.5 with in excess of 200 bhp and it had better be a really top job.

As said, it depends what you are getting for the money ?

Are they fitting their 6 Branch to it ?

Is the Diff being changed for one of a suitable ratio ?

These 2 items alone would cost approx £1100 to source, which makes 3-4K look reasonable, by the time you factor in a good engine & box, custom prop + a few day's labour etc.

you could get a m3 diff for roughly £250 - £300 and around the same money for a 6 branch and have custom downpipes made for it so i would say £800 max for that!

Sounds a lot if its a basic engine swop but without knowing exactly what they are quoting for its hard to say really.

same here that quote was for engine, box, diff, full exhaust and manifold, everything really and said that after the conversion it would be pushing over 200 bhp, would any one on here be able to beat that price?

that price prob inc 1200 of exhaust and manifold.. hopefully correct slipper also

say £500 engine, £100 box, £300 slipper, £1200 exhaust/manifold, then the rest is labour and bits and bobs.. so not THAT bad tbh

can do it for ALOT less DIY tho maybe not quite as 'well'
