I have read somewhere that you can get them to work off the ordinary aerial ..you have to put in some sort of splitter...mine did (before it got nicked)
I've got the splitter, works fine all over the country except the town I live in...
I had a proper DAB windscreen aerial from Blaupunkt before, just a couple of lines along one side of the screen and it gave a much better signal than the splitter.
I use a splitter as well. It's shite around where I live, but general radio reception is crap as well. If I go closer to London, it works a treat. Excellent signal on the M25
What a waste of £20, picks up my local stations fine but looses them about 15 miles before my old FM setup would.
Also weakens the standard FM signal to the point that its difficult to keep radio 1 in reception!
Not happy with this product at all, what is the point in having DAB if you can only recieve local stations ffs
Dont buy the autoleads junk. Im now going to try and get my money back from the eBay seller
didnt have dab aerial used the cars normal aerial which is a rear screen one which is amplified on the fiat and some of the screen dab aerials are amplified according to the ads
