Doesn't sound bad at all to be honest.

You've got a couple of problems to sort, then it's sweeeeet.

Thks m8..

those kinds of words make me feel better but honest opinions are also welcome here..

Dave,i dont wanna keep throwing money at her cuz their bloddy expensive to run..lol and the insurance isnt cheap in the slightest..

im hoping that this running problem will be solved due to the recon rack going in though im not holding my breath,if i need to get a new gearbox,im not bothered either as you can pick em up cheap enough and my mechanic is pretty fair...

all i want styling wise is a m-tech2 body kit, then i think this car will look awesome due to its colour, though its a pain in the ass to keep clean..

I love the car, power and am hoping that after next week it will run smoother, then i can work on the outside..

i keep telling Myself this:

Even IF the gearbox needs changing, and after i get an m-tech kit on it,it would oew me approx Ԛ£3200-3400 ...id like to think i would get that price all day long with the paper work it has and with that spec once completed..

cheers

cabs have a totally different price structure to the saloons/tourings, so Ԛ£2500 for one is not a bad price!!

fact it has tax and test and a decent mileage makes it all the better!

well done!

Yep gotta echo what everyone else has said - it's a good price, don't worry about it :)

The reason the [img] tags aren't working is the pic you're linking to doesn't have jpeg at the end for some reason, try saving it to your computer then uploading it to something like ImageShack and it should work :thumb:

Light juddering is probably front control arm bushes, guibo, or prop centre mount, in that order of likelyness.

well..we had it up on a ramp and were checking all bushes etc etc..he knew what he was looking for and is a friend..so i trust his judgement and we found nothing outher than the worn steering rack..it has play in it...near to me they charge Ԛ£200 to take it off, replace all the bits for the non rubber type (recon) and put it back on which i think was a fair price considering the work is guaranteed too..

My gut instint tells me its Gearbox related...Prop shaft had no ply init and all tyres have been recetly balanced..

the rack needs doing regardless so that will be done first then were go from there..

cheers
