http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1984-BMW-728-I-SE ... dZViewItem i'd imagine? :D

at least it's a manual, actually looks quite straight doesn't it!

not a lot you can do to that 2.8 that I know of, lovely smooth engine though. to be honest for track use i'd be looking to spend £100 on a 3.5 engine for it, even stripped to the bone that's going to be far from quick with 180 odd bhp!

thats the one! Hes got a track day at donington on sunday and as he is now selling the mk2 golf he was going to use(scared of crashing it before he sells it) he needed to find a cheap car. I said id split the cost of it and get afew track days out of it(if it doesnt die on the first outing!)

so as we only have less than a week, and not even picked the car up yet, not going to be doing to much to it yet.

they weigh 1470kg so getting it stripped should shed afew hundred kgs, the bucket seat ive got is only 5kg including the mounts! so if anyone needs any trim let me know!

3.5 m30, that a straight swap, same gearbox, mounts, exhaust ect??

will be trying my hand and fibreglass panels aswell, and dying to have a satin black car so thats the colour i want to spary it.

I think e34, e36 wheels are a straight fit so after a cheap set of them, annoying as i only scrapped a e34 525 recently!

thinking home made strut braces as a neighbour fabricates gates so i will be asking a favour from him!

cant find any suspension upgrades other than lowering springs. A lsd would be nice but may fall outside our budget plans.

E36 wheels are huge offset. In the range of 35-40. E34 is similar to E30 at et20 ish

I've got a 1990 320i Touring that frankly, I'm not likely to use for ages. No tax or MOT (bring your trade plates) but is straight and strong - new cambelt, tensioner and water pump, lowered, 325i Sport shocks and 15 inch BBS with good rubber. Recaro sport drivers seat. New centre prop bearing.

£300 and not a bean less! It's 30 miles North of Donnington. No photos, but it's a diamond black one.
