do what ya like mate, origionally I beleive they come with blaupunkt shite stereos in the e30's. THere isn't exactly a written law on it, but I've always gone with Alpine, they've never done me wrong. And its nearly Alpina lmao.
I'd get all Audiobahn gear if you could afford it mate. It's like anything, you pay for what you get. Audiobahn's going to be the most expensive out of the 3 makes you mentioned but IMO it's the best.
Infinity is known for it's sound quality whereas Alpine's better for more volume. It depends on what you're after.
I'd definitely recommend getting the same make all round though, I've never done it myself but I've been told it's better.
Good Luck

Well if your like me i like everything to go in the original factory locations! and dont be scared to mix and match front and rear speakers..
In the fronts i went for: Infinity 50.7cs,
Brilliant speakers i must say and im not even using them to their full extent as they are connected to a cheap £80 kenwood headunit i got from halfrauds. Get theses connected to an amp and they will sing!! I paid about £70 for these from ebay brand new, they retail for £100+

Now for the rears you have to choose wisely as there in not enough mounting depth in the cab rear quaters, so you will have to choose speakers that are quite shallow.. i went with by zoners recommendation and purchases some Pioneer TS-A1311
These are brilliant speakers for what they cost (£40) and fit perfectly behind the speaker panels!
