i really hope its not the usual crail st johns ambulance. softmints arent any use when my legs are pinned beneath the dashboard. i wanna be seeing spinal boards, neck collars etc
i will look into it,

however; if your not happy with st johns ambulance crew then id suggest perhaps you find something better ??

im almost 100% certain that no other body(excuse the pun) will attend for free.
seriously though, i dont think a trackday should be run with only a first aid crew there. knockhill use paramed1 (private medical group cheaper than the scottish ambulance service but the same people) as do we at the bike racing.

im only concerned about this with me being a track marshal and knowing what can happen.

cheers

its a fun track day not a BTCC championship. !

also, we are on 4 wheels not 2 and the risk of serious injury is minimum.

crail is a flat surface, mostly tar worst case is you spin and take out some cones.

if you are not happy with the provisions that crail has made in accordance with the legal requirments then feel free to back out.

the event is a fun relaxed track day at crail NOT a race.

I'd second that!
It's supposed to be a fun day out for a few like minded folk to enjoy a get-together. Lets keep it that way.
I might even turn up as a spectator and offer softmints to people who bump into a cone :)

even at trackdays stuff goes wrong, not saying it will, just like to be sure that if it does then the provisions are there to deal with it.

i was marshalling at east fortune at a javelin trackday last year when a tuscan spun backwards through the marshals post i was at. if it had happened a few minutes earlier then.........

things happen, the tvr was on its own at the time at the end of the straight and just went all out of shape under braking. no one was hurt, just a bit shaken up and a spot of whiplash (oh anf a fair amount of fibreglass and pearl paint repairs :p

although, im sure it will be a legal requirement they have some paramedics on scene (and im also sure that crail wouldnt flout these laws) so prob nothing to worry about.

Two of the guys who came along yesterday want to join this: Paul and Marko, both have E30 M3's.

Pauls brother (with his supercharged 2.7 - b*****!!!!! - I'm jealous! ) may come along too.
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

That's cause they're contaminated with Ford parts...

American and German don't mix, just look at the Chrysler Crossfire :puke:
