what is the newest engine that somebody has got in their E30(e46,e92 etc). engine size doesnt matter weather its a 2.0d or a 3.2 im just looking for the info.

Because it has alot more ecu´s with it, security issuse and integration to the car itself.
for instance all the various buttons that change modes and shifting speeds along with integration with the drivetrain
in respect to launch control and traction control and all in all a big CAN bus system
But if one has a complete car then removing everything and finding space in the E30 is the "only" wiring problem.
