Need some help on restoring worn leather using dye

I have seen amazing before and after pics on the net and claims from dye companies. Has anyone tried this and if so, what dye did they use.

Before and after pics would be great (I know thats a tall order). Here is my driver seat:

Neatsfoot oil is suppossed to be the business. You can get it from any horsie type place IIRC.

Thanx. That liquid leather looks good. What about the areas that have lost color. I heard that you could get the exact BMW silver dye from some companies.

I saw this one.

Yes ...you can ...try scuffmaster or the furnitureclinic...if you have seen some of the posts they have the address'

I have used both and they work...

Best to go their website for all the general reading but yes scuffmaster is done by liquid leather (gliptone). Tis excellent stuff and you wont regret it !

I have seen Dave's seats and they look great (Red leather sports interior) , something I intend to do one day.

Its not difficult ..just follow instructions ...time consuming though and needs upkeep and retouching unlike a proper recover...

Hi, there is a company called woolies (google it) that do a leather restore kit all you do is send a small amount of leather (the size of a stamp) and they will match the colour or ask bm for the colour code of your seats and send them that ,the results are fantastic send me your email and i will send you some pictures of my seats before and after.
