Andy,

This is a problem with Hotmail, and we haven't got to the bottom of it yet. Steve is working on it though. You will get notifications if you have them sent to somewhere other than Hotmail.

Cheers,

Ian.

wELL as most Londoners would say, your car is TONK!

Very well done on your conversion and you can easily better that 1/4 time! could do around that time in a fwd vr6 with only about 230 bhp at the fly. would have thought you could get high 11´s or low 12s.

I've always found exactly the opposite Andy. York tends to give better times. Santa Pod is like an ice rink some days.

the thing with the pod is somtimes it can be too sticky.....depending on how well they've prepped the track (depends on the event), you can bog down at the start, and then there is alot more rolling resistance as the track is glued the entire length

york on the other hand is only glued on (and shortly after) the start line, i have seen loads of people get better times at york, other people with loads of power get better times at the pod, but they do loose a few mph at the end of the 1/4

Smaller rims, wider tyres and larger profiles with some of the air left out of them with softer suspension settings and almost bald tyres should see that time improve massively! Going on diet usually helps winkeye , im 13 stone!

I haven't ran at the pod ,just that the guys I know which go to york have all ran faster at the pod.I will have to try it for myself some time.
Brian,
Yes i did have it rolling roaded ( cue list of excuses) but,My car had a bad misfire  (does it when its been raining a lot)
Also there was doubt that the rolling road was ran on the correct settings .
Anyway, it put out 285hp at 282 LBft

282lbs?
That sounds well in excess of what a 3.2 is supposed to do.

for the 3.0 its:

Max. output: 284.8 PS (281 bph) (209.5 kW) @ 7000 rpm
Max. torque: 320 Nm (236 lbft) (32.6 kgm) @ 3600 rpm

actually i also got

Max. output: 295 PS (291 bph) (216.9 kW) @ 7000 rpm
Max. torque: 323 Nm (238.2 lbft) (32.9 kgm) @ 3900 rpm

but thats for the 3.0 GT :? dont know what thats about?

i dont know what it is for the evo but i have seen busters car running and it runs well

285bhp i thought was a bit gutting but i think a little play with the exhaust was the plan?

well 285bhp is nothing to cry about, more than two iS's

do you think its due to manifolds.I understand it cant be avoided but do you think thats why?

i've managed to get mine in with no modifications to the manifolds other than the one collector box that fouls the 'lolli-pop' wishbone bracket.
being lhd helps :thumb:

285bhp 'aint too shabby'
especially on a suspect rr

well done andy!
