If it is still available there was one advertised in Total BMW this month. Sorry i havent got the details, alternatively keep a eye on ebay a few come up now and again. You can expect to pay up to £850 for one in good condition.

Check on www.ebay.de , Theres always plenty there. If you look for one in the Cologne area, its an easy drive over in just a day. expect to pay around £300-450, plus the cost of driving over over. I bought mine earlier this year, turned out to be a nice saving on UK prices, plus a nice road trip into the bargain!
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!

thanks Z3I, trouble is it's a bit further to cologne from here in edinburgh, and I currently have a large hole in the soft top thanks to someone sticking a knife through it last night! :-x

Hmm, that is a shame, yet another instance of the advantage of being a southerner! winkeye Only joking!

Guess that its best to source a UK one then, but it'll be around the £800 mark. I think they were a lot more expensive originally in the UK than in Germany, plus they have harder winters, probably the same as in Edingburgh!

Check here, plus Ebay, plus Pistonheads. My tip is, if you really want one, create a search in Ebay for "BMW Hardtop", then as soon as a new item is alerted to you, make a full offer regardless of the start price. You'll need to make sure the cover material is nor torn, especially where its stretched around corners/lips, plusit has the full fixing kit with it (your car, if its UK car, will have the female part of the fixing kit, plus that the cover material has not become "unstuck" on the rear pillars.

Good luck
