Im trying to work out the best way of removing the top layer of paint as its very dull in places and I want to bring it all together without having to do to much respraying. I know that you can use a certain method that looks like a kind of buffing machine jobby thats takes the surface layer away ( spotted it on wheeler dealers, Eds the cats whiskers!) buy cant remember how its done
. Any help appreciated.

You can buy a 'mop' type polisher from Halfords and chuck some T-Cut or G3 on it and use that.
Or some proper elbow grease with T-Cut is good too!

Hiya Dobo, i think its called "mopping" , not really sure myself, i think he
uses a rubbing compound something like G27 ? When ive seen Ed' do this
he has the car "wet", takes a lot of elbow grease i understand.
I'm sure one of the Zoners in the know will be along shortly to add to this,
or even correct me, its late and i dont know what i'm talking about.

I think most T cutting stuff advises you polish straight after doing so! Keeps the paint protected i think!
