Heres a few pics for people who might be intrested.

the M45's the brand spanker, i cut the lugs off the back plate to bolt it to my maniflold, this is a spare.

As you can see the M62's got a lot easyer inlet and outlet to mount to and is slightly smaller.

2 problems with it, its shorter snoot means you will have to mount it closer to the front of the engine which means you may have s/c to bonnet issue and also s/c to alternator issues but there will be loads of space behind it so NO brake servo issues :D :D

It also has hardly any lugs on the front to mount a tensioner to.

the M62s are also rare to find in good condition wee as you can get a delivery milage M45 for £200 or less.

For any one who dosnt know the number after the M is the 0.?? ltrs the charger displaces per rev.

Merc ones wwwwwaaaayyyyyy to big with that great inlet on the back, non starter! :D

The M62 looks like its got a clutch on it too :cool:

The M62 does have a clutch on it yes :twisted: if i do it it will be twin mapped for boost or N/A with a bypass.


If it wasnt for the belt arrangement i could have a quad charged e30 :twisted: imagine the belt wine winkeye
