Hartge started doing this conversion nearly a year ago with the e90 saloon and now offer it in coupe and touring guise. The engine is also arround 40-50 bhp more from head work, cams and re-mapping iirc. Its called the Hartge H50 V10. It was in BMWcar a while back.

Hartge steering wheel and AC schnitzer 20" wheels?
Love the seats though, i think they are similar to Audi RS4 ones.

Thats rather sexy. It must have started as a real m3, every panel bar maybe the doors would have to be changed!
They've got the wheel from the hartge h50 but not the dials for some reason.

No they wont. BMW wont use V12's for flagship models such as the M Power models. Its not suitable and practical enough. And putting the V10 in a 3 series also contradicts BMW's weight distribution and handling characteristics. It took them enough work to find the right balance in the 5 series, which has a completely different chassis design and suspension layoutmaxfield wrote:The next M3 will be V10 and the next M5 will be V12...
The next M Power engines are more likely to be Forced Induction, as they've pretty much gone as far as they can go with N/A tuning, hence the 335i twin turbo petrol

I'm hoping BMW will forget the German power race and concentrate on doing what they've done so well in the past, making great drivers cars. They seem to have lost sight of this a little with the new M3 from what i've read.stuartgallafant wrote:No they wont. BMW wont use V12's for flagship models such as the M Power models. Yes, a little more driver involvement could have a green dividend as well. Lighter, agile, more acceleration at the cost of top speed. Probably not on the horizon for a company from the land of the autobahn I guess.
Not that I'd complain if someone handed me the keys to a new M3

BTW I'm tradeing with Bremgo.INFO ON CAR:
Bremgo, a German aftermarket parts retailer, has dropped the M5/M6 500hp V10 engine into a 2008 BMW M3 coupe.
The engine outputs 507 horsepowers (up from the stock M3's 420hp)!
The M3's stock 6 speed manual transmission has also been replaced with the M5/M6's seven speed SMG transmission.

Also leftlanenews are wrong here. The website itself states "E92 with M3 technology and M5 V10 engine." So they used a 335i (most probably) and retrofitted the M3 aerodynamics aswell as M5's engine and SMG. You can see on the interior that it used to be a 335i...
Best regards, south
