will 5 series front seats fit in an e30?

Hi guys,mate of mine has a 5 series think its an e34 its a 525i m tec so it has the sports front seats etc the material is the same pattern etc as mine and as he has recently had an argument with a crash barrier he has offerd me the seats and other bits for my touring (e30). Question is will they fit?

E28 seats bolt straight in - they're virtually identical. E34 ones do not - they are E32 7 Series seats.

E28 seats will fit, but you will have to use E30 runers as they are a different width, no big deal at all.

Yep, got a set of E28 sport leather in the garage at the moment and I'd say they are identical.
