i just spent over £900 to get mine through with new fuel tank, tyres, brake discs and pads ,sub frame bushes, handbrake cables, copper brake lines, steel flexi hoses, prop bearing etc etc.
thankfully the underside of mine is surprisingly solid with no rust issues 8O

same as mine. little bubbles along the bottom window trim and a small patch in the panel along the bottom of the front windscreen. ive also heard tourings dont suffer as bad but cant remember why.

Think it was because they along with the convertible were built in a different factory (think along with the e34's???), which had better build standards, which is why they suffer from rust less than coupe's and saloons. I think that was it :?
