hehe! your 335 isn't as dead as mine!!!!!!
have a read though the santa pod threads for more info. basically, my diff shat itself during a 1500rpm launch, siezed the wheels solid and i had to be pushed off the strip backwards!!!
the £350 recovery bill and not getting home til 2:15 was less amusing though

bad pics but here its is 2 owners from new
full service history
40000 miles on the clock
£250 which was maybe too much cash but its ok
the old girl is going blind so she had to sell it. she sounds well funny on the phone and i bet she drags me in for tea and a biscuit
she calls it Daffodil or the little lady.

Volvo 343
the old girl wants me to restore it and love it, which i will but i will also lower it to the deck and matt black the wheels
be class in winter

She calls it daffodill because that's what it is - A DAF, before Volvo took them over and changed the badge.

yeah i know about the DAF badge and the colour suits its great!
i was not drunk i just want a run around and this is perfect, i like funny cars and this is funny car.
if anyone takes me seriously in this i will be amazed
+ driving it round the city i wont be care if i get bumped into and people wont steal; it. safe.
photoshop of my plans soon.
it suits my personality to the ground and now i can take my time and get the 335i going with less panic.
i hoped for a good reaction from the DAF

I know it's not quite the same, but I was amused and quite impressed with this on the drift area at Santa pod!

that would be sweet! sorry the conversation stopped last night but the oktoberfest took over and i passed out.
3hours sleep each night didnt help.
i know the volvo is only a 1.4 but the insurance is £140 for the year (only looked at confused.com so search continues) low tax bracket and fuel will be ok.
still with some serious clutch kicking i will still be able to get the back end out
i love how rediculas it is
picking it up thursday night now so i will get some new pics later and i can buy some bits i need for the 335i and the girlfriend is away for most of next week so i can fix the 335!

man it took me ages to find this old thread!
its been a while since i have been omn the zone as i have been busy etc. but im back and the 335i seems to be running with all the glory it had before
but no mot or tax
still i finally got the chance to get across to Euro Car Parts and got a header tank lid. £10 and the cooling systems is up and running
what a fool here is a pic of how worn the rubber seals are

part number is matches the new one its just old stuff. guess its what happens when you buy 2nd hand

now since i have been having problem with the e30 i thought i would buy another run around. i let you people have a quick look before but here is a few more of my 343 1979 classic

thought about doing this? but the 1.4 doesnt really suit.
still goes sideways nice though

drove the 335i at the weekend
few powerslides and flat out moments later.........oh i think i need to get the beast back on the road

good luck man!
i may put mine in just to see what wrong with it? i know i have changed everything on the front end, bushes etc with all the 325i front stuff but the back is not done yet
still i have all the rear frame and arms from my 325 so i can still put all that on. i think one arm on my 318 is slightly bent so i know that will fail and i dont know if i need to put a bigger back box on the car to pass the mot?
oh and i need a washer bottle yet
i need a breakers yard nead manchester
