Why would anyone spend money on mechanical fuel injection?

Gaffa tape is like "the force" - it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tap

Very rare parts for the right car, not much good for an upgrade mod on an M30 though(for the money)

Wowzers! Slide throttles!
You could easily convert those to EFI and have an awesomely cool induction setup there.

That a lot of money for a kugelfischer set up as used on the M1. and a very expensive way to make throttle bodies. My mate has modifed a set from a old merc on his e21 and jenvy throttle bodies he had newman cam make him up new profile for the pump as fuel rate is based on RPM with atrim pressure form the throttle, also used on early rs 911's

Be interesting to see how accurate the fueling was with the mechanical injection. It is phased to coincide with induction strokes too isn't it? Unlike the Bosch K-Jet which just sprayed like a watering can all the time.

Fascinating, a real blast from the past!
What engine did the CSL have? Guess if it was an M30 then someone might be interested for historic racing.
Other than though, it would be cheaper to make a set bespoke than use those!
