Just sprayed my m3 style mirrors and was wondering if they need laquer on them, if so which laquer would be ok for bmw paint?

Is it a metallic? Doesn't need lacquer if not. IIRC BMW aerosol paint is cellulose, so any motor factor / Halfords lacquer will do the trick.

Although if you got the paint from BMW you'd have got a can of clear coat as well?

It isn't metallic it is atlantis blue, and it is from bmw but I didnt recieve clear coat.

So your saying it will be fine without laquer?

If it is ok without laquer how can I get a decent shine to match the car?

Suggest leaving the paint to cure for a while and then taking it back with a 2000 grit paper then polishing it back up.
