HI

I have had a re think and I am now contemplating ordering new full coilover suspension rather than using the ones that I have.

I have recently ordered the H&R camber adjusters and need the coilovers now.

Can anyone suggest which is the best suspension kit to go for?

I was thinking along the lines of Gaz, eibach etc.

Thanks

H&R is very good!

Depends what you want, with Gaz you can order custom spring rates...

KW are very good too...

Go look at the coilover conversion kits from Demon Tweeks and Rally Design (actually I think they're the same items)

Define 'best'. You can sink £4k+ into something like Proflex, Intrax or Nitron.

How much adjustability do you really need?

I think you're right to think about GAZ. For most applications on a track car they'll be perfectly adequate. Phone up and speak to Dave Lyons and he'll be able to give you all the advice you'll need. The price is also very good.

Are you planning to run a proper rear coilover or an adjustable platform on a coil spring? Remember you ideally need the rear turrets strengthening + a cage to run coilovers on the back of an E30.

Main problem with them is getting dampers that are good enough to insert into them.

You'll then need to guess spring rates to match your off the shelf dampers.

By the time you've bought them and converted your struts and then bought some good adjustable dampers you're up to the price of a Gaz setup that will come with matched springs and dampers that have been tested.

Thinking of the Gaz set up, have many people had experience with these?

Where is the best place to source these?

Thanks

By Gaz direct from GAz, speak to Dave Lyons and mention my name James Cuthbert, he may do yo a better price ;)

We have lots of PBMW cars running them including the 2007 Champion, all seem pleasaed with them

You can get what ever spring rates you require, they have just changed the valving which I have heard good feedback on
