Detailing an E30

Right, been looking over on detailing uk for the past few days to try and get some proper tips on car detailing.
It seems there's so many differing opinions on what to use regarding different products.

Fair enough different types of paint, condition of paint, clear coats etc. will require different products but has anyone here any proven excellent results with keeping E30's looking like new? (My own car is brilliant red)

i.e What polish you use, what wax you use, sealents, glazes, rubber restorer, etc.

chemical guys do produce good product, detailing world is the place for info i,m a member on there.
can recomend clean and shiny for a fast delivery.

Another vote for chemical guys here.

I buy most of my stuff from either cleanyourcar.co.uk (preferred supplier) or cleanandshiny.co.uk. Both have been a great pleasure to deal with.

My product list I use on the E30 are:

Wheels: Menz 7.5 wheel gel (Rarely get dirty enough to warrant using it tbh)
Wheel sealant: Swissvax Autobahn
Tyres: Megs apc to clean, Zaino Z16 or Blackfire tyre gel to dress.
Wash: C/g citrus wash and gloss
Polish: Meguiars bodyshop hand polish
Glaze: Clearcote vanilla moose
Wax: Victoria collectors
Q/D: Megs last touch for general duties, Victoria q/d for a final wipe down
Glass: Sealed with Carlack glass sealant kit, Interior glass done with Stoners invisible glass
Seals: Einszett gummi pfledge
Exterior plastics: Black wow.

Check them out in the traders section, I personally say they are hard to beat, bloody excellent in fact and years of Rolls Royce training behind them.
