Maybe in a couple of years I'll be able to keep up on the straights, hopefully next year I'll be able to keep up on the bends on track, we will see!

M10 turbo, that's the engine I do fancy putting in it when I've got everything else out the way. 8)

Low down in the revs the car has been transformed. It's no longer sluggish while you wait for the revs to kick in. Throttle response is near enough instant and and the engine breaking is far far stronger.

You can notice the difference in all gears and it is like Kos described it, you do feel like you are in a lower gear than you are.

I think a few of us should get some iS's together sometime as there's more and more of them about on the zone now!

Bit of Progress today, made the spacers to make the throttle bodies line up with the adaptor plate, 11mm if anyones intreted.

A few pics, gonna make the plates to extend the balance plate bit so they can all be individualy balanced. :D

I also drilled out the holes were the studding goes through the bodies from 5.5mm to 6.2mm so that i could use S/S M6 studding :D

Been having another go at these as a little on the side project and have finaly got them to a nearly usable state :D

Firstly i had to extend the fuel rail as it was not long enough due to the bodies being spaced out so as with the bodies i had to remachine some joiners 11mm longer than they were.

Image

Secondly was to make the connection for the fuel to come in to the rail which hopefully Alex will ally weld to the rail for me as i have no ally welding ability :D

Lastly i've made the little tabs to extend the linkages and adjusted them the best i can with out them being on the car :D

Yes mate once the weldings done it just needs some rubber boots to joint it all togeather and a a throttle cable making up and then a mount for a remote FPR :D

Then i might start on a carbon plenum

That adaptor plate is simply stunning.... That's some serious cnc work! It'd almost seem a shame to have your head re-worked and have to open them out at all!

Liking this new project, very home-brew but looks really well done.

they have CF plenum for both for 4 cyl and 6 cyl,(Silverstone £300, Interlagos £370, Hockenim £430 etc.. you'll need to modify to backplate and mounting face area,
