If any mods have any problems with my posts, please could you have the decency to inform me by email or PM why my posts were deleted?

when i advertised in for sale and ebay both were deleted instead of jus one. infact virtually all my ads have been deleted.

I had a topic going asking for help with selling my car, now this has been moved too and no one has told me why

I put it in the for sale bit cos sellers tend to look in ther and also cos a buyer ight see my car there. but obviously wrong.

WHY??? :x

A little communication wouldnt go amiss

Don't think any of the mods has deleted your posts, however, right at the beginning when you joined the forum and posted a few duplicates, in the wrong sections as well, I did send you a message about it, which you acknowleged.

I hope you haven't been making multiple posts again, which 'might' have been merged ?

I would suggest before you simply stick a 'Who deleted my post', check your previous posts to see if it's been moved to the correct section, if it was in the wrong section to start with ?

A PM is the norm when a post is moved or deleted.

when i advertised in for sale and ebay both were deleted instead of jus one. infact virtually all my ads have been deleted.

Duplication should be avoided which in turn will reduce likelihood of post/post being removed or moved.

I had a topic going asking for help with selling my car, now this has been moved too and no one has told me why

Basically, you posted in the wrong section. We attempt to keep subject matters to exactly that, the pertinent subject. I can see what you were attempting to achieve but the post was moved by one of the mods in an attempt to get the best results for yourself.

I put it in the for sale bit cos sellers tend to look in ther and also cos a buyer ight see my car there. but obviously wrong.

As per my previous reply, it is best to stick to the General section unless your subject posting DEFINITELY falls within the subject area. If in doubt PM one of the team/mods and we will always assist as quickly as possible.

WHY??? :x

A little communication wouldnt go amiss

 Communications re-established I hope !!!!!!!
PM me if you have any further questions or post up here and I/one of the team will gladly reply.

thanks to all the people who replied politely.

I found a thread on selling my car in the pub, so that is fine, and sorry if whoever moved it was offended by its previous location.

As for adverts, no i have not been sticking up multiple ads as such, i advertised it in the for sale bit, and when i put it on ebay i stuck the link in "ebay" folder, which resulted in both ads being deleted.

the only PM i had was when i posted in the parts section. when i adverised the interior of a car i was selling. Which was what i was chastised for rather unfairly.

I shall be going quiet for a few days, to allow someone on here to rethink how they "speak" to people. Maybe i will come back when they learn some manners.

Lots can of sentiment can be misread and miscontrued on a forum or within emails.... try not to take any of it to heart, I am sure it is nothing personal, the last thing anyone wants is to put decent people off I am sure.

Hopefully Iain's post has gone some way to helping how you feel...

Don't stay away too long :(
