The Cobra deal will no longer be avaliable to the e30zone, due to a minority abusing it- shame as it was the cheapest you would have found anywhere

Jimmy, any chance they will talk with me and ship to Australia?
If so, what about the Sebring S GT seat? Pretty much same as EVO S GT.

I hadn't noticed this thread and have just PMed you Re seat rails.
Although this thread answers the question of 'is the group buy still active' - I'm still interested in knowing the orientation of the seat rails. Cheers!

I cant remember off the top of my head how the seat rails go as per your PM
I used the standard mounts, mounted through the floor and some rollcage bar
I'll see if I can get a pic from another driver for you

Yep, they supply and e30 subframe for base mounted seats, and made some e30 side mounts for side mounted seats.
Plug and play on any seat

Depends on 2 things really, your budget and the application
The cheaper monaco seat is base mounted, its adjustable so more user friendly on the road- you do sit higher in the car though
The side mounted seats such as the evo offer you seat ears so ideal for motorsport and mandated in our series, they also tend to be lighter and more motorsport focussed. They are fixed but you get a better driving position IMO
best thing to do is sit in a few and see what feels best, the evo also has a GT version for the wider driver ;)
If you speak to Marc once you know what you want he will i'm sure extend the deal to any of the range, its basically trade or slightly less I believe

well dont wanna spend too too much but i want a good position and i want it to sit lower than my sport seats, also looking for a full bolt in cage that i dont have to modify anything to fit it such as the dash, as il only be doing local hill climbs and sprints maybe the odd track day

I am hoping Cobra will honor the deal for a third year next year but that still needs to be discussed
For mainly road use, I wouldn't get the evo as its a bit of a pic in and out with the ears, the do a seat the same as but without the ears- have to check what it is though
Both the above are fixed seats, alternatively youo may be better with a monaco which has sliders on it
The deal we get on cages in PBMW is from Automac, if you look in the group buys section Kos sorted out a zone deal

Is this still on ? I need an E30 subframe for my Monaco seat and this price is a lot cheaper than i've found so far.
