If you've got a decent surface area to join to you could probably get that brazed back on. I think personally though, I'd make a 3-4mm steel plate to pick up a couple of extra holes on the engine and bolt my mount to that.
Drill out and re-tap the damaged hole to M12x1.75 or helecoil back to M10x1.5 (depending whether I had M10 helecoil kit and drill to hand).
jk
Oh dear, more M30 woes. Long boring story inside.

Perhaps I've acted too hastily, but I've bought another m30, for a massive £67. It comes with a free engine stand, and has a new cam, valves, seals and followers (apparently) 123k miles from an e32 auto. 2 problems, 1 - it has a snapped rocker and 2 - it's in Leicestershire.

I also found this page which has some m30 tuning tips, quite tempted to get my inlet and exhuast ported, perhaps a lairy cam to suit?

I'd love to get a ring trip in, but not sure how i'm even going to collect the engine yet.
Just looked at the photos, it doesn't come with a starter
