Ok, you have a E30 325 'i' or sport and have £4000 to spend on upgrades for the track or race use - what would you choose / and what wouldn't chose and why?

Full weld in custom cage, with diff and axle mounts tied in, front and rear turrets tied in to- £1500
Set of 3 way remote canister coilovers, i'd probably stick to GAZ aas have been happy with them to date and dont want to blow the entire budget on suspension- £1000 (guess)
Full set of poly bushes, with BMW M3 excentric control arm bushes, adjustable trailing arm bushes- £300 (guess_
Cobra Evolution eared seat- £250 ic brackets
6 point harnesses- £150
Miltek exhaust- £150 (pbmw price :))
£400 for some mintex disks and pads
£80 swirl pot
£170 for oil change, cambelt, clutch and brake cyclinders, quick shift

Think that would do me, and would make a nice quick, safe track toy

If you gave me another £400 I'd stick and FEV plumbed in electrice fire extinguisher and an electric battery Isolator about £200 each

K-mac camber correction on rear.
Powerflex bushes everywhere else. M3 eccentric control arm bushes.
Custom built LSD.
WMS 4 pots.
Cage and Bucket.
Swirlpot.
Powerflex engine/gearbox mounts.
Toyo R888's.

Think that should cover it.

I'll give you £4k today if you can get me all the above for that

I'll have to add in a set of RS2000 engine mounts as forgot about them :)

and i'll lock the diff to 75%, pull in a free favour from my mate as the £4k's gone

oh and use one of the sets of R888's I have in the shed :lol

Each to their own but nearly half the budget on two irrelevant items  A set of £50 wheels with decent tyres would do, and if you really want to loose weight at the front a £100 poly bonnet.

Oh and nothing on safety items like a cage and harness........

edited to say I just saw the £200 CD player and realised you must be taking the pee with your post. I really must read things a little more thoroughly before I post :D
