Not sure on the steering rack Andy, its an idea though. Still not %100 sure of which car to put 3,5 in.
Could end up with the 3.5 in cab and the 325i one from the cab into the touring :? Mean while couple more pics of beauty &the beast :) Cheers Zaust.

Is it me or am i going to have trouble using these engine mounts. In the 318 engine bay the mounts are a wedge of rubber that slots intoa metal slot. Whereas the spooxmotorsports need to be mounted on a stud :?

Spadge , just in case you,re interested mate, this is the gearbox that came out.
Has these numbers on 2200225.93. and 1221845.9 with 052

Did a quick search on ETK but couldnt find anything.
Diff has 4.27 followed by 5741 on the tag, whatever that means.

Good stuff, have you decided what engine is going into what car? I personally recon a 3.5 would be wasted in a cab :? A sleeper touring will be much more  and a lot less work

Hope to be fitting the manual gearbox (730i) to the E34 engine soon along with new clutch.
Gearbox has been sat in garden for a while and the driveshaft has traces of rust on it. Would i be ok cleaning this with some brake cleaner?
