1 Peice Windows

Hi, Does anyone know if anyone ever did a one piece window conversion for the front doors for the e30 convertible? They are electric by the way. I know it would be a hell of a lot of work, as I'm trying to do it at the moment. So far I've made all of the bits I need for it, and trial fitted them, (I haven't made any permanent changes yet), using a hard top two door versions doors with the widow frames removed. I then cut off the front edge of the frames, the part that meets the windscreen frame, and tack welded them to the front screen surround, and used a thicker custom seal. I modified the doors so that the rear of the window can come right to the back of them and meet the rear windows, and it all seems good, except that the windows from the hard top car, that doesn't have that seperate small trinagular window that doesn't open, is a few inches too short, and slightly too low. I really need somewhere that can make two custom front windows, but I can't find anywhere that can do it! Any help would be great, or has anyone here done this?

sure, the cars away at a mates bodyshop at the moment having new rear quarter panels fitted, but i'll put some up when it's back, and I've worked out how to get pictures onto e30zone.

Basically, on the convertible e30 i want to change windows in the doors, (two door of course), so that they have just a single window in them like the saloons have, rather than a two peice window in them, where when the windows are down, there is a small triangular window that doesn't open at the front of the door.
