help URGENT(ish) what's the least should i take for my e30?

I got a guy coming to view my car this afternoon its a 318i LUX, in excellent nick, 144k on the clock, lots of history, cambelt done in january, 12 months mot, new 6 months tax, with 15" oz racing alloys with 4 new tyres, new discs and pads, mint interior, Kenwood face off stereo and cd-changer, BMW alarm and immobiliser, remote central locking.. all electrics, all working and almost a full tank of petrol to boot..

I advertised it at 1495 so i'd only get serious buyers, im hoping for Ԛ£1200, but the guy works for BMW and says he seen them for 750-850, i said he needs to see this one to ba able to make a proper offer, but how much should i take?

I dont really want to sell, more a case of needing to. If he offers 900 cash should i take it or hold out for other buyers?

Stick with thw lowest price your willing to take,in your case Ԛ£1200, if he keeps offering you less,simply tell him to be on his way,or better still,fcuk off.

well if he starts off at 800, you stick at 1200, force him up to 900, and you come down to 1125, get him to 950 and you at 1050 and split the difference.

dont go less than 1200 its a good spec and tax and ticket for ages
tell him 1300 lowest with the tax or 1250 without it simple as

It looks like a nice motor.Dont take an offer if you just want a sale and will regret it later.Although its still only a M40 1.8, which arnt that popular compared to other models. I have a 1.8 and paid 800 for a excellent condition one.Not a bad price,although i wouldnt expect 1500 for it to bo honest!

At the end of the day if he has seen them for cheaper then why the hell didnt he buy them.
Stick to what you want and if he wont pay then bye bye. He can go get a cheap one.
My Astra GSI went for about a grand more than some for its year because it was mint.
The guy who bought it off me saw 6 before mine and they were all about a grand cheaper. In the end he couldnt believe it when he saw mine and bought it.

looks like the idiot is a time waster, said he would phone when he was on his way, he lives 20 miles from me, no call so far, and i was too daft to take a contact number.

I will get beating off other half for that cos 2 people have phoned this afternoon, and i told them it was still for sale but that someone is viewing it today. oops, i probably put them off... oh and im in trouble for telling one of them how much it was adveritised for cos that put them off... (they must have passed the car and liked what they saw, cos 1471 gave the number of the phonebox across the road)
