Rear black leather headrests for a convertible...

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a pair of black leather rear headrests for a convirtible...? I think ill need brackets for them aswell...

you will have to get brackets for them from the dealers. not much though. as for the headrest i wouldnt know. i guess you will have to keep an eye out for a second hand set. unless the dealers would sell the leather itself... dnt know.

The cabs normally will have the mountings for rear headrests in the seat foam, find any set from a scrap yard, remove the head rests and seat back to get to the bracket, ya will need 17mm socket set to remove the seat back, and 8(or 10mm) spanner to remove the brackets, dont forget the plastic washers in the fabric, then take em to an upholsterers who will re-do em in black leather.
did mine last week but stayed with cloth. Think they look the shizits and seem to cut down windyness too!!

my cab didnt have the mounting brackets.
i had to buy them from the $tealers. And they do look much better with rear headrests

if you find a car with rear head rests then the brackets will be there too, what i meant was the cabs have the cut outs and threaded holes to accept the brackets easily, just take off donor car and stick em in your cab!

front headrests are the same as rears iirc
if you find some, shouldn`t cost much to get them trimmed up in leather

oh yeah thats right, and if you take the seat back off the mounting frames are the same too.
