Ok then,a number of you have suggested organising another meet after the last success,so after over 2 years I thought I would.

The date is yet to be announced but it is likely to be in November and on a Saturday.
The meet will be around the Wiltshire area south of the M4 and around the Salisbury Plains area, exact locations will follow in due course.

A good driving route will be arranged with some pretty roads to take your cars up to the prescribed speed limits

There will also be some gravel track driving involved and some places where,if you desire, you can abuse your cars,McCrae style
I will add,the tracks are good enough to drive along without wrecking your cars if you have lowered suspension, but care must be taken to avoid pot holes.

At some point in the day,a stop off at the pub will be involved for grub & refreshments.

As an added extra,as mentioned in the title, there will, hopefully,be an added surprise winkeye
This WILL be a surprise, and will stay that way so please don't ask,as I won't answer

If your interested please add,cut paste and all that shit to the list..........

***UPDATE***

I've been out have pretty much completed a route, route itself will be about 30 miles give or take of good driving roads.
The main route won't be on any gravel tracks in case this puts anyone off, but,i've found a section where peeps can have a McCrae blast along a few mile stretch if you fancy some rally action, there will also be a stop on a great big gravel area where you can park up and chill,or,have some fun
The main stop will be on a football field size concrete area in the middle of nowhere, also its right next to a quiet piece of fast road winkeye winkeye

I've not yet decided which pub to stop at for lunch,i'll decide later, doesn't matter much at this point.

I'm think we should meet on Marlborough Common, this is just off the A4 and only ten minutes from the M4.
The common is easy to find,it's on most maps,if you need directions though PM and i'll give you them.

Meet at 10am,and go from there :D

I'd love to go along to this, the roads around Salisbury Plain are great, would be a right laugh, it's over 100 miles away from me, but I'm still tempted! winkeye

So come down to mine, fit my engine for me & make a weekend of it! Ok, maybe I should give up & just fit the damn thing myself...

You should come though - it'll be great. I'm tempted to say I'll bring the wrong-wheel-drive-$hitter for the sake of being able to c*ck around without worrying though!

I'm guessing that weekend & the next are going to be busy for a few people with bonfire night etc... 17th might be more popular? The 4th is a Sunday though, so you'll probably be ok!

Nah,I'll make sure we don't drive down any really rough tracks.

As long you don't tailgate the person in front I can't see it being a problem. :D

as long as my cars ok then ill be up for this, know a lot of the roads around there well and i can pop home that weekend as well.

shame it now takes me the best part of £30 for a round trip home.

which gravel tracks are you thinking of? is it worth me putting my standard springs back and brining my spare m20 sump? winkeye

I wouldn't worry about changing springs, unless your on a serious drop, the track we'll be going along is pretty good, just need to keep your eyes open 8O :D
I've been along rougher tracks than these at considerably higher speeds than I would dream of now,in an E30,and have never damaged a sump.................yet.........
How low we talking though on your motor?

seems i ground out on meter wide speed humps with just me, a mate and two 50lb bikes in the car.
