For this months coveted monthly title we are looking for performance and modified cars, be it some giro funded wrongness or a feat of Einstein like ingenuity and engineering. The coveted badge will not go to the pipe and slipper, tweed jacket wearing, mint imperial sucking society.
After last month's competition being won by the two "E30zone Hearses" we are looking for originality, perfection, comedy, council tat and performance; or lack there of if there are enough drain pipe exhausts.
We want a fair battle, but which will take the win....the perfection of precision of engineering, or the bravery of the super glue fuelled Halfords ram raid?
As ever ladies and gents we have the offer of the prized place on the title banner and chance to win car of the year up for grabs, so lets see your unworthy horseless carriages of excellence and let the games begin.
Good luck, and see you at dawn...
Mr Clarksun

its not fair that Ians car is in this.... lol i object!
my iS h36 replica deathtrap:
i dont believe in washing it

spec:
engine- s38 b36 m5 engine, filter, custom radtec racing radiator, spal fan, custom hayward and scott manifold and system twin 2.5in pipes whole way. m5 box, custom prop, custom engine and box mounts, 3.64 e30 lsd
suspension- shocks and springs from hartge h36, eibach arbs, all other components from e30 m3, e36 steering rack, subframe lowered 20mm
brakes- e30 m3
exterior- stock e30 m3 15in bbs (interesting in ALL conditions), one light fell off, black bonnet (when its moving it looks carbon)
interior- iS with recaro (from sport evo?????) alpina wheel and knob, m3 cluster modified to read correctly, VDO water temp gauge.
performance- goes like a good'un, but discovered that it is limited to 155mph
13.5secs at the pod.....feel that if the tyres actually worked it would be quicker

Dont think I'd wanna go faster in an E30 Ian
its an idea though......
not 100% how you'd carry it out, the VSS sends the signal to the ECU via the cluster I guess ?? Maybe Sal can shed some light ???

150mph is quite scary in an E30...
Wouldn't you be able to go standalone and ditch it all, add a C/f airbox too?

would no way go standalone..... lots have people have tried i with these all with little overal improvement usually with a compromise in driveability...
had a chat with the Salman when i was round his and he said he can supply a chip which will remove this and maybe give the car a little more edge
oh and its very stable at that speed....
