Whats the H numbers all about? Which do you need for an e30? Which are legal and which are not? are 8000k legal?

Hi you need H1's(no idea what the H stands for),6000 is not to blue.The higher the number the bluer the light.

Best to go for the 4300k or 6000k kits
An the bulb fitment is H1
The 8000k and above give out a blue tinted light the 2 I mentioned above are about as close to "Brilliant white" light as you'll get

Basically, the lower the number/temp is, the better the quality of light is, I have the 4300 and they are great

I have the 6000k ones and they are great, the more higher you go i.e 12000k etc you go from blue - purple, and you will lose light intensity.
I would recommend the 6000k since you get the best of both worlds slight tint of blue and great light output
