Hi there guys,

Was wondering if standard coupe springs will fit a cabby?

Are all springs the same shape...?

I presume they have different compression ratings to compensate for weight differences?

I might try and fit 316 coupe springs on my 325i cabby :D

Should drop slightly lower ehhh :o:

Thanks in advance.

No is the answer I'm afraid.

Cabs are heavier and need stronger springs, as do the tourings.

316 springs are no good either with a 325i engine as this engine is heavier.

Is that your car in the avatar? That looks bloody low already.

Thanks for the reply mate, yes the cabs are heavier and thats the reason why standard coupe springs would make the car sit lower. :)

I was just wondering if the springs are all the same.

Yep looks pretty low...but its not low enuff :D
