Haha, I just done a shortened (650 mile) version of this run last week!
Kincardine / Glencoe/Kyle of Lochalsh/Skye Bridge/Dunvegan/Elgol/Armadale Ferry/Arisaig/Oban/ Kincardine.
Camped for 5 nights on the way, excellent scenery and some great roads for driving!
I'd recommend it to anyone.

I am definately up for this. Will need dates as aiming to go to Italy in the Summer. Will be speaking with her indoors.
Does the £230 include fuel?

Looks like fun. Can't committ at moment. Is it 4 night's accom? If so then price looks reasonable.

Looks like a great trip.
Hey- certainly can put you down as apossible- wwill need £100 deposit by 21st Dec to allow pre-booking of rooms, so you have until then to commit
Tom, its 3 nights accom, plus fees for the 3 ferries being used. still reasonabletomstickland wrote:Looks like fun. Can't committ at moment. Is it 4 night's accom? If so then price looks reasonable.

Corran Ferry (just outside Glencoe)
then Mallaig Ferry.
Route has been planned out, but need to get my hands on autoroute to do a proper plot.

I got Autoroute here, if thats any good?
I love the Corran Ferry - not been on it for a while tho - last trip up, we went over the Skye bridge (it's free!).
Armadale to Mallaig ferry is a good sized boat - with refreshments available too.
