Not sure by what you mean with Bottle top Alloys.

No you can not fit standard tyres to them as they WILL NOT Seal properly to the wheel causing all
kinds of problems

Dude, he means "Styl. E30" wheels - the 6x14's - I think.
Joeboy, are the wheels 4-stud? I've just checked the BMW alloy wheel catalogue and I can't find the metric wheels ever having been produced for E30, only the 5- and 7-series - which are 5-stud.
That TD may not mean they're metric. What's the other identification on them? 14x6J etc etc.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Sounds like bog standard bottletops. E24, E28, E34 (and E32?) could be specced with metrics.

If the tyres are available (I dont think they will be though), chances are there will only be one company making them and they will be bloody expensive.

Your best off just getting different wheels.

was it only the Michelin TRX tyres which went on the metric wheels?

As said, damn damn expensive, assuming they are available as I believe they only nget made in batches every now and again when there is sufficient demand. The capabilities of these tyres, particularly in the wet is pretty shoddy by the standards of modern rubber.

So unless you are an absolute stickler for originality, I would just source some other non-metric bottle tops (which are usually given away) and put some normal rubber on them.

x2. :thumb:
I've never seen an E30 on metrics, but then metrics were never popular anyway, were they?
I'd have thought tyres will be difficult to source and consequently pricy. If you can afford it though, it'll have novelty value.

Actually, I've just checked my Owners Handbook, and there it is in black and white - TD200/60R365. Well, well, well!

Pic of wheel(s) please???
