I have a wing with the glue from some Ducktape left on it. Any advice as to what products are good for removing it?

WD40 and a bit of soft cloth should do the trick :)

Get some panel wipe, also known as panel degreasant. It's used by bodyshops and it removes most stuff from paint without removing the paint. Any good paint supplier should stock it.

Autoglym intensive tar remover, put some on a tissue, leave on glue to soak for 5-10 mins. wipe clean

Thanks for all the ideas lads!

I used Mykal sticky stuff remover- worked a treat. 5minute job and there was glue all the way along the wing :D

Apparently citric acid is what all these tar/glue removal products contain, so in theory some lemon juice would probably do the trick also :wink:

thinners and some 80 grit sandpaper should remove it i think.
or perhaps maybe some autoglym intensive tar remover.
