in 17x7 do you guys think these would look good on a E30?

they are lightweight.. Et22 offset.

These in 17 inch will do good in eliminating the "dwarfed" look of stock rotor size behind a thin 5 spoke wheel..as commonly seen on e30's wearing 17"s

If your going BBS stay with the classic deep dish look, or at least multi spoke!!

Atlast I got some imput thanks,

Maybe I'll get RX 17x7...but several bmw cca members I know have them.

BBS RS are old & used ...and the ordeal shipping them from the UK to the USA will kill me. then when they arrive...looking good in pictures they won't be perfect and that wouldn't fly with me..I'd have to have them restored further burning a hole in my pocket.
I'd love those though... they would cost me too much.

Those BBS RF are not that expensive..being $270 USD each.

I like the 17x7 RGR but the stopped making e30 fitments in silver...not they just have diamond black shadow painted RGRs.

That leaves me with only one other new wheel..that is good. BBS RG-F forged like the RGR in 15x7 though
weight 10lbs each.. probably would run 225/50/15. Not sure if I would be happy with a 15 inch wheel. Possibly if I lower the front end more like what my brother did on his E30 M3..which sports 15x8 Revolution wheels with body-color painted centers (diamond swartz metallic)

Any further Opinions about all wheels???... BBS RF, BBS RGR diamond black shadow painted, BBS RG-F 15x7 ultra-light forged weaves-silver.
I'd like to heat opinions of each..any more input would be great in helping me decide what to do! 8)

What to do haha :?

Haha! Anytime it's time to get new wheels (again for me) It comes as a "very tough" choice.
I wish they still made the OZ volcano wheel. Had them on my car for 7 years (yes, 7 long years) The clear started to flake off on the polished lips...so I traded them away for 15x7 circa 1990 Racing Dynamics RGP wheels.

1 year later I sold the Racing Dynamics for $650 USD to pay off some stupid bills on the spot.

Now year 2..I have 16x7 chrome 5 spoke wheels on my car..which were given to me from a friend. I DO NOT like them..but they are better than my 14" steels for now. *The steels are going on soon though..they actually look better!
(I also sold my bottle caps last summer for $165 USD)

*As I do the restoration...I want to make a "smart" choice..I think the BBS RG-F is the best performance wheel. 10lbs & forged....but may look to small for my liking.....& the ugly "RED" center logo would look bad on my cirrus blue e30. I guess I can get some vinyl to cover it & then fit a roundel wheel sticker emblem over that.
-Also a lil' more front lowering with deeper spring hats will work to make the 15's look better & give me a "raked" stance 8)
Then I think it is possible to fall in love with 15 inch wheels on a E30... forged , 10lbs light, and meaty tires with a frotn raked stance will suit me!

Also I'll add my E30 hubcentric H&R wheel spacers ( to get a ET18 offset)

What tire choice would be best? I do not want a "Skinny & FAT" tire such as a 205/55/15. Not wide enough and too tall for my liking-looks wise.

I want something a lil' wider....& something that will not rub my fenders. (I'll never roll my fenders sorry guys)
215/50/15..will that fit? Remember ET18 offset. hmmm...

My brother has 225/50/15 on 15x8- ET20 wheels...but he has an E30 M3.

Here's a photo of the New BBS RG-F forged wheels:
They will look good if I could make the red center cap look better..I'll just cover it in black vinyl and slap a BMW wheel elblem on there.

Does BBS even offer these wheels in the UK?

What do you guys think winkeye
These are more of a "function" purpose..being expensive, forged, & ultra lightweight.
They look great style wise (I think)...but they definately won't look as nice as a 17 inch wheel since I'd be getting these in 15 inch.

They do look good on e30's...I've seen a set on a Henna Red E30 M3.
