Did you need to go to a garage for them to tell you the engine was only running on 3 injectors? didn't it feel lumpy?

I'm assuming you've got an M20 with 6 injectors. First i'd check the wiring to each bank.

How long have you been running with the turbo? What injectors are you using? and how much psi are you running? maybe you could have burned out the injectors.

How much of the original loom is present? The 12 volt + feed to the injectors is two seperate wires to two groups of three. Common failure at the injector loom plug under the inlet manifold.

Mosfet amplifier, or as said previously it could be the conector below the inlet manifold

Field Effect Transistor... basically the electronic switch in the MS that drives the injectors.

It could just be a set-up issue, there's 2 banks of injectors available in MS, they can be set for a number of different firing configurations. Who installed it and set it up?

i installed it with some phone help from ant... havent been able to do anything else since as it barely runs as it it. should all 6 injectors be wired into 1 bank on the ecu? i seem to remeber there was two wires on the car side going into four wires on the ecu, may be it should have been two into two??

IIRC it should be two into two, wires 11 and 12 into white/brown yellow/something the are both thick wires, have a look what you've done and let us know.

just to make sure iv got this right... the wires labelled 'injection bank 2' on the megasquirt side should be left free and injection bank 1 should be wired one each into 11 and 12..?

No, wire both up, bank 1 to odd number cyls, bank 2 to even number cylinders, then its alternating, batch fired as per OE, you cant have sequential as there's no cam synch or need for it in this application

to check the wiring as is, change from alternating to conti in megatune - constants screen, reflash to ECU and the other 3 inj should pop into life.

99% of the parts in the box are easy to replace, just need to know which ones and get replacements. The bits your after are all in a line down the side of the board, all bolted to the heat sink. Which one only needs a pop onto the msefi website and all the info is there.

Remove, clean, solder, test, sorted :D

Have they checked to see that it switching on and off?

Can't say I've ever had issues with the injectors & ms on mine, then again Ant did help me fit mine way back in the day. Ignition problems, well that's another long and painful adventure I wouldn't wanna do again.

lol ive had every problem imaginable so far! to the point where the garage have no basiclaly siad they dont have time to find it so i might have to collect a non running car after it being there for 2 months already! :( i have checked every other option and it can only now be down to a break somwhere in the original wiring or a fet. it puzzles me thou as my wiring all worked fine before ms was installed

Is the plug/socket under the inlet manifold for the injector loom still present?
If it is, then this is the obvious and first place that I would look for a fault that has cut three injectors.

Have you checked under the rubber boot of the lower half of the plug and socket?
