What BMW can I buy with £5500

Best bet is to wait until you actually have to buy it though, prices are gonna keep coming down, month by month.

I would get a nice low miles e46 if i had 5500 i think. The 2 door cars still command strong money though.

Early E46's suffered from rust around the rear subframe + other problems. I wouldnt touch them!

My E30 325i Touring. Easily. Id probably let it go for £4500 if im honest. Other than that, 328i Touring or Coupe, in the E36 guise. With some M3 looking goodies on it. Or, out the box here, a Z3 2.8 widebody...?.... well i like em.

Im with Blitz. E38 7 series are seriously If I could afford to run a 740 I would be straight there. Gotta be silver though IMO. Or e39 540. Again cool looks V8 sound track. Perfect.

yeah but half of the cars mentioned still have £50,000 car running costs most of the above will be in a league unknown to alot of us E30 owners and won't take well to a scrimping maintenance mentality
